Under the Rapid Exchange program, once a product or Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) has been diagnosed as defective by the Quantum Customer Support Center, upon customer request and the issue of a Return Authorization (RA) number from Quantum Customer Support, Quantum will ship a replacement product or FRU to the site before the defective product or FRU is returned to Quantum. The replacement product or FRU will be shipped, in most cases, the same day as the request, but no later than twenty-four hours (Monday through Friday except Quantum or country holidays) after the request. Quantum reserves the right to choose, at its sole discretion, the shipment facility, method and carrier expected to provide the quickest shipment based on origin and destination. At the time of replacement authorization, customers can inquire about expected delivery time. Quantum cannot be responsible for any shipment and/or customs delays by carriers, freight forwarders or other parties, or other delaying circumstances beyond the control of Quantum.
